Our newest espresso is a joint effort of five farmers that share a wet mill together in the remote (and historical) region of Matituy. Matituy means “Doors of Gold”, a place where agriculture and ardent beauty flourishes. These growers; Pedro Alciviades, Carlos Antidio, Maria Cabrera, Manuel Pantoja and Martha Popayan all grew up together amongst the coffee trees. Their group effort to preserve their families wet mill and farms are paying off. The cup is straightforward, sweet and clean. Lots of round fruit and caramels rule the cup. At shorter extractions, the espresso goes cocoa with light nips of stone-fruit. Big body without complication, great for a cappuccino.

All orders are roasted Tuesday-Wednesday and shipped on Thursday.
