From the Highlands of Southwest Ethiopia comes a clean, fruity and jammy espresso for us to savor. Limu (Lee-moo), is an area rich with coffee history, cultivation traditions and attention to detail. Coffees from this area are distinct from all other regions of Ethiopia. Limu can be characterized by a heavier body, undertones of red fruit with thick tannins and a combing acidity. In the demitasse, we found an array of fruits and floral aromatics. Brown butter, cocoa powder, strawberry, green grape, Napa cab, raspberry-cream and a Viognier / lime-esque acidity. This coffee can play the herbaceous to sweet & juicy spectrum with great versatility.
