Max Palacios (a third generation coffee farmer) and his family have provided us with a sturdy, rich and creamy espresso this season. The name Palhu comes from a fusion of the family name and the region Huehuetenango. We are excited about the profile as an espresso neat as well as a milk-friendly option. The demitasse is clean, smooth and slightly bright. We get notes of almond, creme brulee, Golden Delicious apple, white grape, honey graham and light caramels. Give it a try both neat and with milk, we think it’s awesome either way!
