Espresso Roast

From a small collective organized under the acronym “ADIESTO” comes a clean, silky, and cherry popping coffee grown in Huehuetenango. ADIESTO organizes several farmers under the common goals of developing sustainable harvesting practices and pursuing equitable trading relationships.
We received this coffee fresh out of Guatemala’s Spring 2017 harvest season, and chose a lot that demonstrated a remarkably smooth white wine acidity on the palate. Notes of rainier cherry, grape, and strawberry agua fresca make this an apt summer selection. We found florals of lily and lavender rounding out the profile in the nose. A light brew ratio through a filter or an espresso machine gives this coffee a lovely refreshing character that we adore in a mid morning cup.
