We are very excited to present to you our first Kenyan coffees of the year! This lot is a collaboration of 850 smallholder farmers near the Kirigu river. The Kirigu river provides fresh water for washing, milling and the fermentation of the coffee. This offering is a Kenyan AA grade, of the highest bid coffees in the world. It was selected for it’s incredible acidity and complex sweetness. AA coffees are sought after for their consistency and outstanding fruit components. We got notes of red currant, rhubarb pie, blackberry, blood-orange, violet and rose hips permeating. Ndima-ini is multi-faceted, rounded and juicy up front, leading to malic sweetness and cools into a bright wine-like acidity with a long perfume finish.
