We get excited when the Colombian-coffee season rolls around. This lovely Cauca coffee is a testament to why coffee folks are so passionate about Colombian farms. If you’re into bright, clean and tannic coffees, this should suit you well. On the nose we got floral hints, dried fruit and crushed grape. In the cup, Figueroa starts out with a creamy and milk chocolatey roundness. As it cools the juiciness opens up with concord grape, kumquat, clementine, concord grape and a honeyed ginger acidity.
